Transit of Goods is a customs regime under which goods are transported under customs control between two customs officies or terminals of Russia.

Inbound transit procedure on import is required if final customs clearance is performed at a regional customs office. It can be done by truck or air transportation.

Outbound transit, procedure on export is not required if the exported cargo has passed through the customs clearance at a regional customs office. In that case, the cargo is transported to the airport of departure or a sea port where it is to pass through customs control at the border customs.
